Caring for potential adoption and surrogacy arrangements throughout pregnancy, delivery, and post-delivery can be complicated and emotional. Learning Objectives  |  At the end of this session, participants should be able to:

  • Explore Adoption and Surrogacy Practices to see how they affect patient care.
  • State three ways to best serve patients with respectful, neutral, compassionate care.
  • Define the Dual Family Care Model and issues to be addressed.
  • Continue to explore the benefits of the hospital-based Unique Families ProgramTM for meeting the needs of those considering, pursuing and completing an adoption plan or a surrogacy arrangement.
