HealthTrust presents...”Understanding the Drug Supply Chain Security Act”
The Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) was enacted by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2013 with the intent of enhancing transparency and patient protections by eliminating illegitimate and suspect products, while maintaining trading partner integrity in the drug supply chain. All receivers starting November 2024 will be required to implement a process to verify and maintain specific product and distribution information. This presentation will assist in understanding the DSCSA and what services are available to have a process for DSCSA compliance upon receiving, transferring and investigating products.
