The understanding of steam sterilization cycles remains a key challenge to ensure effectiveness and increase compatibility whilst preventing the need to reprocess loads due to excess moisture. This webinar will deliver key elements to improve the cycle configuration, addressing common challenges and sharing some strategies on how to implement the changes.

Learning Objectives  |  At the end of this session, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the role of each saturated steam sterilization cycle phase to deliver medical devices both sterile and dry.
  • Discuss the impact on cycle performance, of the different metallic and non-metallic materials, used on medical devices and sterile barriers.
  • Apply available resources to optimize the steam sterilization cycle
