Sepsis is a very complex condition that has very specific core measure data abstraction rules making it challenging for abstractors. This webinar will be presented by two teams, each including a sepsis coordinator and an abstractor, to discuss the obstacles to abstract sepsis data along with clinical and abstraction tips. At the time of webinar registration, people will be asked to submit questions for the speakers to discuss and answer during the webinar.
Learning Objectives | At the end of this session, participants should be able to:
- Identify obstacles that abstractors face when abstracting sepsis data
- Review best practices and techniques for accurate and early detection of sepsis
- Discuss key strategies to comply with documentation requirements
