• Describe the clinical impact of negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) and collagen with oxidized regenerated cellulose (ORC) and silver in the wound environment
• Explore some of the main factors that affect periwound integrity
• Review the role of novel silicone-acrylic drape with NPWT in patients with periwound skin breakdown
• Examine, via cases, the clinical outcomes from combining ORC and silver with NPWT
