Learning Objectives | At the end of this session, participants should be able to:
- Explore the evolution of NPWT and the latest innovations
- Examine the science and clinical application of novel peel and place dressings, determining which wound types are most appropriate for this technology
- Highlight the differences between the NPWT technologies and employ an algorithmic approach to determine which technology to use and when
- Explain the transition of care of NPWT from the acute care to outpatient setting
- Apply new therapy application tips toward the use of NPWT with instillation, incision management and hybrid drapes
Target Audience: This activity is designed for physicians, nursing professionals, physical therapists, researchers, scientists, podiatrists and dietitians across all practice settings involved in wound healing or wound care issues.
