3M Health Care Academy* presents…Meet the Experts Series – Part 2: “SSI Reduction Protocol Development”

Amid the SARS CoV-2 pandemic a large urban hospital facility implemented a preoperative decolonization protocol for outpatient surgical patients. The intent was to reduce the risk of surgical site infection and readmission of the post-surgical patient. The goal was achieved. Learn how the protocol was developed, implemented, sustained, and expanded from one of the lead champions on this project.
