This webinar program will review the stages of sepsis and the impacts on the patient. In addition, the program will review in detail the most current evidence-based recommendations for sepsis treatment from the Society of Critical Care Medicine as well as prevention and recognition bundles designed to improve clinical outcomes.

Learning Objectives  |  At the end of this session, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the pathophysiology of sepsis
  • Review the SCCM Surviving Sepsis Bundle for recognition, prevention and treatment of sepsis
  • Discuss the impact of sepsis recognition programs in saving lives across the healthcare continuum of care
