“Ask the Experts: Key Considerations for Managing Unique Patient Populations with Hepatitis C Virus Infection”

This activity will focus on approaches to managing unique patient populations with hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. The faculty will address the key issues and provide practice pearls for physicians and pharmacists. The content for this activity is based on questions and comments from participants at a recent educational symposium on this topic. Time for additional questions from the webinar audience will be provided at the end of the presentation.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Outline the approach for managing patients with hepatitis C virus and HIV coinfection
  2. Analyze the management of hepatitis C virus infection in patients with multiple comorbid conditions
  3. Evaluate recommendations for the retreatment of patients who have failed previous hepatitis C virus therapy
