Learning Objectives | At the end of this session, participants should be able to:
- Discuss how health care systems measure violence against healthcare workers, including how these types of caregiver injuries were coded for tracking and trending purpose.
- Understand the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s (IHI’s) framework to create reliable prediction and response systems to reduce violence and improve safety.
- Review the Dynamic Appraisal of Situational Aggression (DASA), a dynamic risk assessment tool.
