In this course, Surekha Pendyal, MSc, MEd, RD, FAND, will define and differentiate the various types of glycogen storage disorders (GSDs); examine the nutritional management approaches for GSDs; and analyze the implications of microbiome interactions, fertility, and pregnancy considerations, weight loss strategies, and the presentation variability in GSD patients through case studies. This program was originally presented at the 2025 Abbott Metabolic Conference.
