Learning Objectives | At the end of this session, participants should be able to:
- Describe the challenges and impact of nutritional management in the extremely preterm infant’s first weeks of life.
- Review specific needs for LGBTQ+ and other culturally diverse families and discuss ways to provide individualized and inclusive maternity care to all families.
- Describe the biology of toxic stress and list the sources of systemic trauma.
- Define at least 2 core measures for trauma informed care.
