1. Identify common risks associated with manual handling of trauma patients in the ER.
2. Discuss the clinical and operational benefits of using air-assisted lateral transfer (AAT) devices in trauma scenarios.
3. Apply evidence-based techniques to safely reposition and transfer patients with spinal precautions, fractures or obesity.
4. Review recent data on staff injury, patient outcomes and pressure injury prevention in emergency care.
