The fundamentals of cardiac resuscitation include the immediate provision of high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation combined with rapid defibrillation. These mainstays of therapy can also include other interventions such as advanced airways and assisted ventilation. In the fall of 2020, the American Heart Association and European Resuscitation Council will introduce new guidelines for resuscitation. This webinar will reveal the answers to some critical questions: What is in the guidelines to support airway management? What evidence is there to support changes in practice?
