EHOB Inc.* presents…“Quality & Safety in the OR—the Pressure Is On”
Little is known about which support surface(s) may achieve sufficient pressure redistribution for patients undergoing prolonged procedures in the operating room (OR). Only a minimal amount of research has been conducted that focuses on pressure injury prevention to the sacral area while the patient is in the lithotomy position. Join EHOB for a discussion on the pressure redistribution differences of a standard OR mattress as compared to the combination of a standard OR mattress with a static air cushion.
