Learning Objectives | At the end of this session, participants should be able to:
- Recognize the clinical burden of diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) on patient quality of life and economics
- Examine the clinical efficacy, safety, and cost-effectiveness of disposable negative pressure wound therapy in the treatment of DFUs
- Develop an effective dressing strategy for managing DFUs and preventing infection
Target Audience: This activity is designed for clinicians involved in the management of patients with, or at risk of, developing chronic wounds.
