This presentation will focus on the common causes, implications and management of the high output stoma. Nutritional and pharmacologic interventions and pouching considerations will be discussed:

2. Describe two pharmacologic and nutritional management interventions for the high output stoma.
3. Identify pouching strategies for the high output stoma.
