This session highlights influenza, how it’s transmitted, treatment options and prevention.
Learning Objectives | At the end of this session, participants should be able to:
- Provide an overview of the epidemiology, pathophysiology and transmission of influenza.
- Discuss current treatment options and management strategies for influenza guidelines for anitviral use and care for critically ill patients.
- Highlight prevention strategies, including vaccination and non-pharmaceutical interventions to reduce the spread and impact of influenza.
