Leaders work hard to develop appropriate acumen for success, often focusing on communication, delegation, decisiveness, confidence and authority. Empathy is not often listed as a necessary skill for success. I propose that the ability to share in the feelings of others may actually result in greater leader success than other skills. This session delves into ways to leverage empathy as a leadership acumen.
