“Developing Systems for Rural Sepsis Care”

Sespis Alliance* presents…“Developing Systems for Rural Sepsis Care”

Nearly 20% of Americans live in rural areas, and delivering high-quality sepsis care despite access barriers can be challenging. Learn about some of the barriers to sepsis care and the ways that systems of care can be developed to support rural patients in low-volume hospitals. This presentation will also discuss the use of telemedicine in sepsis and how regional networks can be used to leverage quality improvement activities across wide geographic areas.
