This webinar program will review the important caveats associated with the recent FDA Emergency Use Authorization Process for COVID-19 vaccines and the healthcare professionals’ role in interpreting vaccine safety and efficacy information regarding vaccines. The webinar will also discuss how to address frequently asked questions about COVID-19 vaccination based on current data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration, and ongoing vaccine clinical trials. Finally, the program will review the necessary steps for healthcare providers and healthcare supply chain professionals to take to ensure that their practices are “vaccine-ready” for the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine once it is available.
