“Ask the Experts: The Patient and Clinician’s Journey through Immunotherapy”

This activity will focus on current issues related to the use of immunotherapy for treating cancer. The faculty will address the key issues and provide practice pearls for physicians and pharmacists. The content for this activity is based on questions and comments from participants at a recent educational symposium on this topic. Time for additional questions from the webinar audience will be provided at the end of the presentation.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Outline the appropriate use of biomarkers for directing the use of immunotherapy based on currently available evidence.
  2. Summarize the role of immunotherapy in cancer treatment for solid tumors and lymphomas, including agents and indications.
  3. Apply strategies for managing the potential toxicities of immunotherapy using patient scenarios.
