Vacuum Delivery Systems

Vacuum delivery systems (also called vacuum extractors) assist healthcare providers in guiding the infant’s head into a more optimal position for delivery. A soft or semi-rigid cup is placed on the infant’s head and then a vacuum is applied to facilitate re-positioning for delivery. Vacuum delivery devices can be used in vaginal as well as cesarean section deliveries alike. HealthTrust members have exclusive access to a product feature summary document.
