Irrigation, Laparoscopy

Hysteroscopic morcellators use mechanical energy rather than high-frequency electrical energy to simultaneously cut and aspirate tissue in the uterine cavity. Irrigation during Hysteroscopic Morcellation provides the infusion of sterile solutions for liquid distention of the uterus. A fluid management system provides an automated system that continuously measures distending media input and output, intrauterine distension pressure and fluid deficit volume throughout the procedure. Such monitoring is critical to preventing excess fluid absorption and its associated complications.
