Heart Failure Monitoring Systems
An implantable heart failure (HF) monitoring system is a wireless heart failure sensor that is implanted into the pulmonary artery (PA) via right heart catheterization. The sensor has no battery and no leads and monitors changes in the pulmonary artery (PA) pressure, which is an early indicator of the onset of worsening heart failure. This heart failure monitoring system uses the sensor, patient electronic systems and the system website to monitor and manage patient data for early heart failure symptoms.
