DESCRIPTION:Saxe Communications* presents…“Post-Operative Mastectomy: Complications & Care” \nBreast Cancer is the most common cancer diagnosis in the US and is the second leading cause of cancer-related death after lung cancer. Treatment strategies include\, either alone or in combination\, surgery\, chemotherapy\, radiation\, hormone therapy as well as newer\, innovative approaches. Surgery\, however\, is often the first-line treatment modality. This presentation will focus on the complications associated with surgery and adjunctive therapies that can include post-surgical pain\, wound infection\, hematoma\, lymphedema\, and the seroma.
