It poses significant risks to diverters\, colleagues\, healthcare organizations\, and—most importantly—patients. It is a healthcare worker’s duty to detect and report suspected or confirmed acts of diversion among colleagues. Health systems must implement comprehensive and preventative tools in order to reduce drug diversion in the workplace.
