DESCRIPTION:The 2020 HealthTrust University Conference Call for Proposals is now open. \nSubject matter experts (SMEs) are invited to share impactful clinical initiatives\, supply chain success stories and/or performance improvement best practices with HealthTrust members during the annual HTU Conference event. (Promotional content will not be considered.) Feel free to contact university@healthtrustpg.com to discuss topics of member interest or your program idea prior to submission. \nChecklist of items required with your submission:\n Profile/contact info & complete biography for each SME\n Proposed Session Title & Abstract Summary paragraph\n 3 Learning Objectives\n Gap Analysis (description of current & desired states)\n List of Evidenced-based and/or Industry resources that will be consulted when you develop your slide deck (due in June 2020) \n \nProgram Length & Number of Presenters | Education Sessions &/or Panels are either 45 or 90 minutes in length to include SME content and\, if desired\, audience polling (via event mobile app) and Q&A.\n45-minute Session = 1 or 2 SMEs | 90-minute Panel = 3 or 4 SMEs \nPresenter Deadlines\n– Proposals due — Dec. 16\, 2019\n– Speakers notified of decision — Week of Jan. 27\, 2020\n– Sign disclosures/approve edits for registration site copy & CE applications — by Feb. 15\, 2020\n– FINAL\, completed presentations* due to HealthTrust — June 17 for sessions with multiple presenters; June 24 for sessions with single presenters\n* Sessions or panels with multiple speakers: SMEs will need to submit their slides to their session’s Point Person by June 17 for approval and combining into one deck. In this session\, a comparison between pathophysiological responses relating to respiratory depression and the methodology and technology used to assess respiratory status will be discussed.
