Join us as the presenter shares information on the clinical significance and incidence of vonWillebrand Disease (vWD). In addition, disease pathology and symptoms experienced by the vWD patients will be reviewed. The various laboratory assays will be identified and as well as the benefits and drawbacks of the various methods.

At the end of this session, participants should be able to:

1. Discuss the history and discovery of vWD
2. Describe the disease pathology and symptoms
3. Explore the lab assays available to diagnose vWD
