The Green Electronics Council* presents part two of…“Sustainable Procurement Through a Public & Private Sector Lens: Understanding Differences in Motivation, Roles, Strategy & Results” — “Sector Challenges & Successes”

This webinar is part two of a four-part series of “Sustainable Procurement Through a Public & Private Sector Lens: Understanding Differences in Motivation, Roles, Strategy & Results.” The series will bring together procurement professionals from the public and private sectors to share their unique sector-specific experience in implementing sustainable purchasing within their organization. Each stand-alone webinar will address an aspect of sustainable purchasing as viewed through the lens of the public or private sector.

During the second webinar, “Sector Challenges & Successes” panelists will present upon sustainable purchasing initiatives underway in their organization, and participate in facilitated discussion about sector-specific strengths and challenges they have experienced and observed. Panelists will answer questions, such as:

  1. What is the private sector and/or public sector good at when it comes to sustainable purchasing?
  2. What unique challenges does the private sector and public sector face, respectively?
  3. What can be learned from these observations?
