This webinar presents a brief overview of the basic concepts of sepsis followed by an in-depth discussion about the most recent Surviving Sepsis Campaign guidelines. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) new inpatient reporting program, Early Management Bundle, Severe Sepsis/Septic Shock (SEP-1) measures and Sequential (Sepsis-Related) Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) is also discussed.
