“Saving Lives at the Bedside: Collecting Vital Signs”

Vital signs are a key component of patient care and treatment. This critical data should be the most reliable data in a patient’s chart. However, research indicates that vital signs are not consistently assessed, recorded, or interpreted. This webinar will focus on the use of electronic collection and documentation of vital signs, and the use of algorithms to identify patients at risk for clinical deterioration. This webinar also discuss the importance of critical thinking and the electronic validation of the healthcare professional’s intuition to fully utilize our available resources to provide the possible outcomes for our patients.
