Natural rubber latex allergies can affect any healthcare worker as well as the general population without distinction as to race, gender or length of exposure. This webinar will provide an overview of latex allergy, the role of latex in allergic reactions, powder gloves and latex allergy, management and prevention strategies, risk assessment and reduction, appropriate glove selection, and the benefits of a non-latex environment for risk reduction.
