“Ask The Experts: Rolling Out Antimicrobial Stewardship-Translating Evidence into Daily Practice”

This activity will focus on approaches to optimize antimicrobial stewardship programs. The faculty will address the key issues and provide practice pearls for physicians and pharmacists. The content for this activity is based on questions and comments from participants at a recent educational symposium on this topic. Time for additional questions from the webinar audience will be provided at the end of the presentation.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Evaluate how national policies and initiatives discussing antimicrobial stewardship will affect practice.
  2. Using a case-based discussion, evaluate approaches to optimize antimicrobial stewardship interventions.
  3. Develop a standardized educational approach and identify resources for clinicians unfamiliar with antimicrobial stewardship.
